Pursuant to the Privacy Policy, JFE Systems ("Company" hereinafter) will use and handle personal information received from customers, trading partners, job applicants, parties submitting inquiries to the Company, and others as described below.

The Company manages and protects personal information concerning individuals who access the Site as described below.

1．Site Overview

The Site is divided into several sections, including Corporate Information, Products & Services, Seminars, and Recruitment.
In principle, individuals who access the Site need not provide their names or other personal information.

2．Personal information collected by the Site

Customers who request Company product catalogs or explanatory materials using the Products & Services Form*¹ are asked to provide personal information such as company/organization name, section name, personal name, title, telephone number, email address, postal code, and postal address.

Customers who submit inquiries using the Inquiry Form on Product Support are asked to provide personal information such as company/organization name, section name, personal name, telephone number, fax number, and email address.

Customers who submit inquiries using the General Inquiry Form on JFE Systems are asked to provide personal information such as personal name, email address, company/organization name, section name, title, telephone number, postal code, and postal address.

Customers who submit inquiries using the Inquiry Form on Handling of Personal Information and Quality Control at JFE Systems are asked to provide personal information such as personal name, email address, company/organization name, section name, title, telephone number, postal code, and postal address.

Customers who submit inquiries using the Inquiry Form on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at JFE Systems are asked to provide personal information such as personal name, email address, company/organization name, section name, title, telephone number, postal code, and postal address.

On the Recruitment page, students interested in the Company are asked to provide personal information such as name, gender, age, current address and telephone number, parents' home address and telephone number, email address, school name, and names of faculty/department.
Prospective midcareer applicants interested in working for the Company are asked to provide personal information such as name, age, address, telephone number, email address, academic history, career history, and computer-related qualifications.

Customers who submit inquiries using the Other Inquiry Form are asked to provide personal information such as personal name, email address, company/organization name, section name, title, telephone number, postal code, and postal address.

Customers wishing to subscribe to the JFE Systems Email Newsletter may be asked to provide personal information such as personal name and email address when requesting a subscription.

3．Handling of cookies and similar information by the Site

The Company uses cookies to analyze traffic and personalize content with the aim of improving the user experience when accessing this Site.

4．Purposes of use of personal information collected by the Site

Personal information provided through the Products & Services Form*¹ will be used to respond to customer questions and comments; to send Company product catalogs or explanatory materials; to provide information on trade shows and seminars attended or organized by the Company; to introduce and provide information on new products and services; and to provide information on special offer services. Following analysis and a review of the details, information on a customer's Site visits will be used to improve customer services; to provide advertising delivery services tailored to customer interests; and for marketing activities.

Personal information provided through the Inquiry Form on Product Support will be used to respond to customer inquiries.

Personal information provided through the General Inquiry Form on JFE Systems will be used to respond to customer inquiries.

Personal information provided through the Inquiry Form on Handling of Personal Information and Quality Control at JFE Systems will be used to respond to customer inquiries.

Personal information provided through the Inquiry Form on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at JFE Systems will be used to respond to customer inquiries.

Personal information provided on the Recruitment page will be used to provide information on recruitment and for related communications. Once Company recruitment activities are complete, the Company disposes of/erases all such information by methods that render the information unrecoverable.

Personal information provided through the Other Inquiry Form will be used to respond to customer inquiries.

Personal information provided through the JFE Systems IR Email Newsletter Subscription/Cancellation Form will be used to respond to customer request regarding the Email Newsletter.

5．Provision of personal information collected by the Site to third parties

In general, the Company retains personal information provided by Site users within the Company and does not disclose or share this information with third parties without the consent of the individuals concerned. In certain cases, the Company may subcontract the handling of this information to subcontractors to achieve the above purposes of use or disclose such information when legally compelled to do so.

6．Subcontracting of handling of personal information collected by the Site

Within the scope necessary for purposes of use, the Company may subcontract the handling of personal information to subcontractors with whom it has concluded agreements on the handling of personal information.

7．Optional nature of provision of personal information

Users are asked to decide whether to provide the Company with personal information. Note that some of our services may become unavailable if you choose not to provide the items of personal information needed.

8．Collection through methods not easily recognizable to the user

The Company does not collect personal information through methods that are not easily recognizable to the user--for example, the automatic collection of location information or device information via smartphone apps.

9．Managing personal information collected by the Site

Personal information entered by Site users is rigorously and appropriately managed to safeguard against unauthorized access, damage, leakage, unauthorized alteration, and other misuse.

However, due to the nature of the Internet, various parties are involved in the process of transmission of information from a user's computer to the Site. The Company has no way of knowing who these parties are. For this reason, the Company may be unable to guarantee the security of personal information while it is transmitted from your computer to the Site.

We ask that customers wishing to learn the nature of their personal information held by the Company, correct inaccurate personal information, or delete or erase personal information because they no longer need to receive the information and announcements from the Company contact the responsible Company individuals indicated on the corresponding websites.

Customers who request Company product catalogs or explanatory materials on the Questionnaire/Request Materials page and who wish to revise or update their personal information should contact the sales department responsible for the product by email, entering their name, address, company name, section name, and product name, together with the message "request to update personal information" or "request to delete personal information." Contact email addresses are provided under Contact Us on each product web page. If you wish to update your personal information, please also provide the updated information.
