Since FY2008 we've made use of a safety confirmation service to ensure information on employee safety is swiftly and effectively communicated in the event of a wide-area disaster―for example, a major earthquake. Using this service, all officers and employees register their information in order to strengthen disaster readiness.

Disaster Action Guidelines formulated

Based on the principle of prioritizing safety activities over any other activities, we have established emergency action guidelines for JFE Systems employees in the event of an earthquake, fire, or other disaster. We've also introduced various comprehensive safety measures, including distributing emergency communication cards providing guidelines for disaster response.
