What is the "Internet IR Excellent Company Award"?

Daiwa Investor Relations Co., Ltd. carried out a review of 1,879 IR sites of major listed companies from March 10, 2008 to April 14, 2008 to give them a quantitative score based on an evaluation of their web contents for the sake of selection. Based on these scores, the "Internet IR Excellent Company Award" for 2008 was awarded to those 402 companies, including our company, which were judged "excellent."

In winning the award:

Last year, we renovated the IR information pages on our website to improve its readability and maneuverability, adding such new features as a quick link menu and a button to change the font size on the display. We consider that our efforts to renew the website as mentioned above have been acknowledged and resulted in the winning of the award this year, the third time after a four-year absence (In the past, our company was selected in 2003 and 2004, two years in a row). We would like to continue to take positive action concerning the disclosure of information, providing the required information quickly and accurately.
