At the "Informatization Month Commemorative Ceremony" held every October, the Japanese government selects and recognizes "individuals" and "companies" who have greatly contributed to the promotion of information technology, and "information process systems" which have created significant impact to the progress of information technology. This recognition hopes to promote a deeper understanding of information technology among the general public, to contribute to lifestyle improvement, and to soundly enhance the Japanese economy.
"Informatization Month" was launched in 1972 by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry, and in 1973 was joined by seven related former government ministries and agencies. [Quality Information Management System "Mercrius]
Our "Mercrius" is a unique, proven quality information management system that has been adopted by many major food manufacturers of products such as confectionary, frozen foods, and seasonings.
This system enables centralized information management, including ingredient specifications for food manufacturers, product summaries supplied to retailers, images, and recipes.
Companies with this system are now able to execute tasks which have strained frontline workers, including the control of ingredient information, and the simple creation and control of summaries of products for each customer. By specifying the criteria of the search, "Mercrius" searches for products containing specific ingredients (such as allergens, GMOs and additives) or products of specific origin.
In addition, the system features the function of automatically creating and displaying a list of all ingredients, and also an in-house workflow function, which are both useful in controlling all information on every product, from its development to its improvement or elimination.
