JFE Systems, Inc. (President and CEO: Makoto Iwahashi, Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo - hereinafter referred to as 'our Company') will start, in July 2005, the sale of "FiBridge II for Linux for zSeries", an electronic form solution system that supports IBM mainframes, under the partnership of IBM Japan, Ltd. (President and CEO: Takuma Otoshi, Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo).
[Background and our Services]
As forms are closely related to business operations, we have had requests from many companies, for secure management of forms including personal or confidential information, quick and reliable distribution of forms to related departments, and prevention of delay by failures and downtime needed to restore the system. Responding to these demands, ahead of all competitors, we will supply our existing electronic form system "FiBridge II", which was previously operable on an open server only, in combination with the IBM's mainframe computer "IBM eServerR zSeries". zSeries is robust, reliable, features excellent logic partitioning and enables high-speed I/O processing for secure and long-term storage of forms that are important assets for companies.
[Sales Price]
Price will be presented in an individual quotation and sales price per set will start from 10 million yen. JFE Systems expect sales of about 20 sets for the first fiscal year.
The marketing company survey ranked FiBridge II as the top in terms of market share of electronic form system solutions for last year. However, with the launch of this IBM's eServer zSeries-based enterprise model, we expect further growth in the market share.

For the first user, Hitachi Koki Co., Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo) has decided to introduce FiBridge II for Linux for zSeries to utilize for accounting and resource tracking.
